Financial Accountant

Area Financial Accountant required to join a leading hospitality organisation based in South Manchester

Your new company our a nationally recognised hospitality firm based in South Manchester. A household name who are seeking a new addition to their finance function due to recent growth.

Your new role
In your new role you will assist all duties assigned to you by the Area Financial Controller. These include but not limited to; Sales Ledger and Purchase ledger, Tax and VAT Returns, Month Accounts preparations, Support with the Statutory Accounts and Audits. You will manage the customers and ensure payments are paid on time and chase any overdue clients. You will prepare month end closing comments for senior management and attend closing meetings and input for mapping accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in the role as Financial Accountant you will be a commercially aware finance professional, problem solver with excellent attention to detail. You will have experience within a similar role and can demonstrate clear examples of experience. You will have excellent communication skills, strong organisation skills. Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial but not essential.
