Fast growing facilities management company seeking an experience Project Accountant for Perth based role offering long term career opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing company looking for a Project Accountant with strong management skills and the ability to drive excellence.

As 2IC to the Finance Manager, you will manage an Assistant Accountant in driving project delivery and financial reviews.

Key tasks include:

• Running month end processes including general ledger review, accruals and journal entries, project forecasting and cash flow, balance sheet reconciliations
• Support migration to SAP and contribute to process implementation
• Work closely with payroll manager on labour forecasting, variance analysis, trend review and month end accruals
• Preparation of monthly P&L and labour reporting
• Facilitate annual budget review processes
• Manage, guide and mentor the Assistant Accountant

Ideally you will:

• Hold an Accounting diploma or relevant degree
• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• CPA or CA qualification (or part qualified) desirable
• SAP or JD Edwards experience
• Strong commercial focus and business acumen
• Accurate and fast data entry
• Ambitious and self motivated with the ability to collaborate
