Part or fully Qualified Accountant for expanding construction company near Thetford. Hands-on commercial role

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Part or Qualified Accountant ideally with a construction background to join this owner-managed construction related business based near Thetford.

Your new role
In this newly created Financial Controller / Head of Finance job you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts for their group of companies covering accounts to trial balance, monthly management accounts including variances analysis of actual spend vs. budget with commentary on projects, profit & loss reports, VAT returns, CIS payments, processing payroll, cashflow analysis. As explained they an expanding and diverse business therefore they are looking for a strong commercial accountant who can add value to the Directors with detailed management accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have a construction-related background as a Part or Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience with the experience of monthly management accounts, cost-accounting on various projects, CIS payments and accurate cashflow analysis. They key aspect of role will involve using your commercial experience to assist the Directors in growing the business as well as ensuring systems and processes are effective.

What you'll get in return
The organisation offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, office-based Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, 20 days holiday and Bank Holidays plus your birthday !
