A Commercial Finance Manager position with a reputable FMCG brand in Bristol paying up to £55,000 p.a. Looking for qualified accountants with strong leadership skills, business partnering experience and a commercial mindset.

Description

• Work closely with the Supply Chain team to prepare and consolidate reporting with insightful analysis and commentary
• Deliver the Supply Chain planning process with weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasting, quantifying risks and opportunities
• Lead the analysis and reporting of Gross Margin variances, cost of failure, inflation impact, manufacturing variances and more
• Seek to reduce complexity in the process by developing strategies to drive simplicity
• Business Partner wider areas of the business, taking a financial lead on projects including tracking of productivity savings and financial modelling of strategic projects
• Budget preparation, analysis, tracking and reporting
• Month end cycle including preparing journals & balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc analysis and project work to highlight opportunities in delivering financial targets.

Profile

To be successful you will need to be :

• A fully qualified accountant with post qualified experience
• Advanced MS Excel user with modelling experience preferable
• Experienced working with reporting tools & ERP systems e.g. Oracle, SAP etc
• Self-motivated with determination and resilience
• Capable of managing competing priorities in an ever changing and fast paced environment.

It would also be desirable if you have:

• Previous experience gained within supply chain and/or manufacturing is desirable
