A Global Consultancy has an attractive opportunity for a hands-on Business Analyst/ Project Implementer with experience delivering to clients. You will have software development skills that will be leveraged as the your team grows. You will be self-motivated, intellectually curious and interested in working on a small team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for definition, development and support of enterprise-wide data architecture and business intelligence platform
• Collaborate with team members to provision data to be consumed by the Business Intelligence platform.
• Work hands-on with software developers, report developers, and operations teams to optimize systems scalability and performance.
• Design and develop data quality rules, exception management workflows and screens.
• Design and develop ETL modules using the SQL Server T-SQL or Oracle PL/SQL; particularly in creating/maintaining flexible and extensible structures
• Work with users and subject matter experts to understand business objectives
• Work with relevant subject matter experts to perform detailed source system analysis
• Develop and maintain technical design documents
• Assist in the research and selection of tools, products and frameworks as necessary to support business initiatives

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years experience in developing intuitive, high-performance, high-availability data and business intelligence platforms for asset / investment management firms
• Strong SQL skills are a must.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and/or Oracle including design, programming and optimization.
• Experience with industry leading Data Management tools within financial services (Markit EDM, Matrix, SimCorp, GoldenSource etc)
• Experience in data quality and cleansing, data governance, metadata usage and management, and master data management
• Thorough understanding of typical business processes comprising the day to day running of an asset management / investment management / buy-side company
• Strong business and systems analysis skills, test planning and testing skills, troubleshooting skills and experience with numerous environments and architectures
• Experience using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Solid experience utilizing Market Data feeds such as Bloomberg, Factset, Rimes, etc.
• Strong understanding of Investment Management Markets
