Management Accountant / Regional Accountant

AAT Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant for well-known charity. Home-working with access to Norwich


Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to work for a well-known UK wide charity as an Assistant Regional Accountant which will be based 4-days at home with 1 day working across the Norfolk & Suffolk area visiting various sites. As explained the role is mainly working from home but you will be expected to attend their Norwich office therefore we are looking for a candidate in the Norfolk area.

As the Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for reviewing management accounts for each site, analysing actual spend vs. budget, preparing forecasts and financial business plans as well as dealing with the queries from the budget holders. You will also review the income generated by each business unit and assist in the preparation of financial business plans for funding etc.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be at least AAT Qualified or Part CIMA, ACCA, ACA and have the confidence to support a varied group of budget holders and volunteers regarding their preparation of management accounts and processes. Ideally you will have an understanding of charity accounting but this is not essential but proven experience in supporting a business with commercial finance business support is essential.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working hours 35 hours per week i.e you can work 8:00am to 4:00pm or 10:00 to 6:00pm, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, part home working (4-days) and other benefits.
