Staffmark is working with an excellent company in Rogers AR that has an opening for a proactive, driven and professional for the role of Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring that invoice processing is timely and accurate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process various types of accounts payable transactions including data entry of vendor invoices and expense reports
  • Process A/P invoices ensuring coding is correct and that all deadlines are met
  • Assist with A/P issues or problems as they arise
  • Communicate with internal and external customers and vendors as needed
  • Look for opportunities to enhance current processes


Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of accounting or A/P experience in a corporate environment
  • Strong computer system skills including Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly, open to change and enjoy the challenge of unfamiliar tasks
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and ambiguous environment; handle multiple tasks with the ability to reprioritize and shift priorities quickly
  • Written/Oral communications - ability to speak and write clearly and concisely, get messages across that have the desired effect
