Description: Our client is currently seeking a BP - Business Analyst - Senior in Colorado Springs, CO!
Type: Contract to Hire
Shift Start/End Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m
Dress Code: Business Casual
Need to be in the office 2-3 days per week and the rest of the week is remote, potential flexibility with this.
Description:
***Title - HR - Payroll Specialist*** The Payroll Specialist processes and audits time and attendance, and payroll records for large divisions in a multi-state environment. This position exercises in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations related to Federal, State and Local laws, company policies and best practices to ensure compliance. The Payroll Specialist works closely with other teams within the LDMG Payroll department.
Specific Duties: 1. Audits, corrects and processes timekeeping records in PeopleNet to ensure teammate's time is accurately calculated based on Federal and State regulations. 2. Analyzes reports to ensure teammates are paid in accordance with Federal and State laws, and company policies. Ensures that PeopleNet and Workday are in sync by performing the necessary manual entries. 3. Performs pay calculations including, but not limited to, gross pay to net pay that relate to bonuses, PTO, terminations and other exception items. 4. Ensure payrolls are processed in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner 5. Research and resolve errors, offering solutions with timely responses.
Must have qualifications/experience: 1. 5 to 10 years of payroll experience. 2. In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing. 3. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. 4. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred, not required and Workday preferred, not required
