This newly created, permanent full-time opportunity reports to our Head of Operations. We are looking for an experienced accountant with drive and a willingness to help with general operations. What you'll be doing
- Managing the Nightingale Housing P&L, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls & statutory obligations .
- Oversee & manage business support functions, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with management of Nightingale project finance and project accounting.
- Supporting our Head of Investments at key times of capital raising and site acquisition.
- Lead commercial analysis, business modelling & provision of financial insights and reporting to drive management decision making.
We want to hear from people who have:
- Significant expertise in financial management and financial control processes, commercial management, insight driven analysis and modelling.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) and significant relevant professional experience
- An understanding of the property, construction or NFP sectors would be highly regarded.
- Hands on approach and solution focused
- Excellent problem solving and analytical reasoning; able to manage uncertainty, risk and complexity
- Well honed stakeholder management, including partnering, influencing and communication skills
