To help assist with this extra activity we need an Assistant Accountant to join our accounts team.

About you:

• You have an accounting related qualification or are studying towards one.
• You hold a high level of attention to detail.
• You have experience in the use of MYOB, or Xero, or similar
• You are a fast learner who has a proactive approach.
• You can find your way around computer systems easily.
• You are committed to following set systems and processes.

Responsibilities:
Payroll - must have knowledge of STP - Single Touch Payroll
Accounts Receivable/Payable
Bank Reconciliations to company accounts
Month End Journals
Other Admin duties - eg, filing, ordering coffee, scanning
Budgeting through MYOB
Monthly PAYG
Knowledge of BAS - completed by an external BAS agent
Able to use Multicurrency within MYOB(for NZ Currency Revenue)
Monthly Payroll Tax - All States
Preparation cashflow (via established template)
Insurance Reporting
GP Weekly/Monthly Reporting
Able to process superannuation quarterly - via MYOB
