Accounts Payable Manager 13 month contract is a sole role controlling UK branch accounts payable complete duties in a well established business.

Description

The key responsibilities for this Accounts Payable Manager 13 month contract are:

• Multi-currency experience is essential, ideally with Russian Roubles
• Ensure efficient and effective processing of supplier invoices into the General Ledger
• Responsible for the output and quality of services provided by the Accounts Payable function to key customers (including Suppliers, Employees, Management, etc.)
• Matching of invoices to Purchase Orders.
• Ensure that invoices are properly authorised and coded.
• Control and management of Supplier Master Data. Ensuring that new Suppliers are properly authorised, dormant suppliers marked as not active, and Supplier changes are properly controlled and authorised.
• Ensuring other company policies are adhered to (e.g. expenses policy, approval matrix, financial guidelines, Treasury etc.)
• Ensuring that local tax and statutory legislation are followed.
• Working and liaising closely with the finance team, and other appropriate teams.
• Weekly review of Multicurrency bank accounts ensuring accounts remain in funds at all times to cover weekly payment run
• Assisting in Cash flow forecasting.
• Manage the entire Accounts payable function including related processes and controls.
• Become main source of contact for suppliers, resolving queries and managing expectations during busy periods.
• Ensure accuracy of transactions entered into the accounting system. (SAP)
• Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls.

Profile

The successful candidate will be adaptive, proactive and have strong experience within Accounts Payable and be happy to take on a 13 month contract. Multi-currency is essential experience.
