The organisation are a highly regarded company based only a few km's from Melbourne's CBD. Work from home is still an option though you would be welcomed in the office for training and beyond if desired. The team have expanded and consolidated in recent years and are now looking for one additional team member to support future growth.

The Role

This is a long term permanent opportunity. It straddles both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and offers challenge and diversity

Some typical duties will involve:

• Processing accounts payable invoices
• Dealing with low volume, high value payments and ensuring necessary approvals are in place
• Reconciling customer statements and organising payment runs
• Handling internal and external stakeholder queries
• Running aged debtor reports
• Proactively investigating outstanding account balances and following up with commercial customers who are behind on payments
• Handling complex billing and invoicing queries
• Allocation of incoming payments
• Supporting with process improvement across the department
• Monthly reporting and attending team meetings

Interviews likely to take place from early July and the successful candidate will commence by late July ideally to ensure full training and induction is completed.

Your Profile

You will have a background in both accounts payable and receivable with a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

• Experience working with a mid-large organisation
• Exposure to ERP systems
• Exposure to complex accounts payable, receivable and billing issues
• Fantastic energy and communication skills
• Comfortable working near Melbourne CBD once restrictions are eased
