Our client is excited to employ an experienced Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that all stipulated financial deadlines are adhered to, to mitigate risk of late financial reporting.
The day-to-day operational tasks will include:
· Conduct all of the SARS work (registrations, reconciliations and submissions).
· Prepare and complete bank reconciliations for the various business entities.
· Prepare the amortization schedules, reconciliations and journals for the group.
· Prepare the general ledger allocations and reconciliations for the various business entities.
· Prepare and check the P&L of the various companies on a monthly basis to ensure that expenses are captured correctly and to raise provisions for expenses where necessary.
· Generate and post journals for the various business entities.
· Updating and upkeeping of Fixed asset register for the group.
· Prepare the monthly trial balance and management accounts for the various business entities.
· Perform the full petty cash function for the group of companies.
· Prepare the monthly intercompany invoices as required.
· Perform, prepare and manage the VAT Reconciliations and Vat to Turnover Recons.
· Assisting CFO with daily transactions and filling of specific documents.
· Ensure the accurate capturing of creditor and adhoc payments onto the banks.
· Assist with the checking of Payment Batches as required.
· Daily cash flow management for the group.
· Assist with certain payroll tasks as required.
· Any other responsibility that may be required, but not necessarily detailed above, for the smooth running of the department.

* 4 years experience in a Bookkeeping role
* Matric Certificate
