Currently, we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the ABF Freight team. The mission of ABF's Financial Planning and Analysis department is to expedite understanding that drives action. The Financial Analyst primarily focuses on the company's strategic use of assets: reporting expected and realized returns, analyzing cost trends and determining fleet sizing and replacement cycles of equipment

Your contribution may include:
* Monitor and report ROCE by asset type.
* Maintain, improve and expand Total Cost of Ownership models for Revenue Equipment.
* Collaborate with ABF Fleet Services and FleetNet to identify inefficiencies, trends and opportunities to minimize maintenance and repair cost.
* Collaborate with ABF Fleet Services, Engineering, Linehaul and Service Center Operations to develop and improve decision models for fleet sizing.
* Develop and analyze investment strategies, timing and alternatives.
* Champion our value-driven culture.
* Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be a member of the ABF Freight Financial Planning & Analysis team in Fort Smith, AR. Your work hours will be 8:00AM - 5:00PM with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics or Math.

Experience: Prior financial experience, preferred.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus in Excel.

Certifications: CPA certification or MBA, preferred.

Other Requirements: Willingness to interact with executive management. Proven ability to query and manipulate large datasets, build statistical and financial return models.
