Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

We are looking for a Senior GL Accountant for our growing company. This position is responsible for the preparation of general ledger entries as needed to ensure completeness and accuracy of the financial results in accordance with GAAP, ensuring deadlines for month-end close are met, review and follow-up of monthly financial results with field locations and Controllers, review of vendor invoices for accuracy, preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation of asset and liability accounts for accuracy, monitoring of applicable SOX controls including contact with centers to ensure completeness and various other special projects. This position is based out of the Service Center in Tempe, CA.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate needs to have a degree in accounting, CPA license and 3 + years accounting experience with preferred 2-3 years at a Big Four accounting firm . Must be a great communicator, customer service oriented and self-motivated. Must have strong problem-solving skills and exceptional computer/Excel skills.
