Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team fifteen (15) +
  • Financial statements preparation of holding company including journal entries, tax provision calculation, etc.
  • Preparation of monthly consolidated reporting package and monthly financial analysis of holding company (PL, BS, CF, Indebtedness, CAPEX, and G&A).
  • Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds.
  • Supervise and coordinate the compilation of financial information for the organization, including 2 subsidiaries.
  • Preparation and Analyses of accounting and financial reports and resolve any discrepancies prior to submission to the parent company.
  • Preparation of the audited financial statements, including impairment tests and other analyses.
  • Interface with inside and outside governmental auditors and assist with running the audit and review of financial statements annually or semi-annually.
  • Review of the draft of the Federal, State, and Local Income tax returns of US each entity,
  • Assist bidding department in the preparation of time-sensitive documents required for submission for pre-qualifications and bid proposals.
  • Assist in financial matters involving stakeholders outside the organization, including financial institutions, surety companies, joint venture partners etc.
  • Assist in the negotiation of the terms and conditions of lines of credit and their renewal.
  • Occasionally, participate in the negotiation and closing of project finance deals.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Ten (10) + years of accounting / finance management experience including consolidation of financial statements.
  • Minimum of four (4) year tax experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to follow through on commitments and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
