The Role
As the Financial Accountant, you will enjoy a range of responsibilities including:
- Responsible for assigned entities' month-end close process, including posting of monthly journals and preparation of monthly management report
- Assist with the preparation of monthly board papers, mainly Parent entity's cash flow movements and analytics
- Preparation of P&L and balance sheet reconciliation and identify areas needing investigation
- Performs bank reconciliation throughout the period, assuring transactions are accurate and timely recorded in the General ledger
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Preparation and lodgment of GST, FBT and ABS surveys
- Assist with the audits and financial statement preparation of your assigned entities
- Assist with the preparation of half-yearly and annual report for the group
- Perform any other reasonable duties and ad-hoc processes, as requested
Your Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Commerce, Business or related field.
- CPA or CA.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Extraordinary ability to multi-task and attention to detail are critical.
- Forward-thinking experience in general accounting and administration support.
- Excellent eye for detail and dedication to accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to explain ideas to a variety of colleagues.
