We are working with a Mining and Engineering Consultancy firm to source an Accounts Receivable Officer to assist with an upcoming project. This role is expected to run for around 6 months, but dependent on workload, can easily extend.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:

• Daily account reconciliations and maintenance of AR records
• Liaising with clients to collect overdue debt and clear overdue accounts
• Issuing monthly debtor statements
• Management of the AR inbox and dealing with client queries and any issues over the telephone and via email
• Assessment and recommendations for clients outside credit terms
• Ad hoc duties as required

Your Profile

• Have 2 or more years experience in a full function Accounts Receivable/Collection's position
• Experience using SAP would be preferred but not essential
• Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A sound understanding of debtor collection processes
