Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

The Financial Crime Systems Assurance Manager will be responsible for supporting the business in managing AML/CFT, Sanctions, and ABC risks of the bank. As a subject matter expert, you will have a Bank-wide overview of related controls, capability, issues, and industry best practice. Alongside this you will also be responsible for:

• Preparing compliance reporting
• Advising and contributing to the strategic direction of financial crime systems upgrades, replacements and retention
• Development and delivery of the financial crime Assurance plan and activities across BNZ

Ō Pūkenga | About You

To be successful in this role you will have previous working experience in risk, compliance, or data analytics, ideally obtained in a large organisation. With proficiency in data analysis and manipulation, you will be confident analysing data using tools and turning this into business-centric information.

With strong written and oral communication skills you will be able to present information in a clear and structured manner across a variety of different media.
