Hands on Financial Controller role with progression to Finance Director position in future

Client Details

Description

  • Inputting Purchase ledger and authorising payments and managing creditors
  • Inputting sales ledger and managing debtors;
  • Reconciling daily sales to bankings;
  • Liaising with bar and restaurant managers on stock control and audits;
  • Overseeing bank feeds into XERO;
  • Bank reconciliations;
  • Maintaining petty cash;
  • Maintenance of general ledger;
  • Payroll (approx 50 employees );
  • Liaising and working with FD and site managers on preparation of weekly management reports;
  • Liaising and working with FD on preparation of monthly board pack:
  • Liaising and working with FD on budget preparation;
  • Preparation and review of weekly and monthly P & L and cash flow;
  • Attendance at board meetings

Profile

  • Fully qualified and 2 years+ PQE
  • Industry experience- if this is in retail or hospitality then even better!
  • Hardworking and ambitious
  • Happy to be involved in all aspects of finance and be very hands on

Job Offer

Salary: £40,000-£55,000
