Job Details
The role will report to the Financial Controller and you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial accounts with relevant analysis each month, taking responsibility to ensure that the business complies with external accounting and tax obligations.

Description
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Actual and budget expenditure analysis and reports for budget holders
- Updating forecasts based on changing market data and performance.
- Cash book reconciliations, monitoring bank balances and cashflow reporting, and making payments
- Preparation and submission of Monthly VAT returns
- Business partnering with department heads to help them understand their results
- Assisting with annual audit preparation and reviewing statutory accounts
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables)
- A strong attention to detail
- An effective communicator with colleagues across the company
- A 'can do' attitude
- To be able to challenge current procedures in a constructive manner
