Global Manufacturer with a strong UK presence are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join the team.

Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the manufacturing site.

Key responsibilities to include:

• Lead the accounting team for the site ensuring processes are continually reviewed to improve efficiency;
• Finance Business Partner to the Management Team on site to provide support and analysis, to add value and drive commercially focused decisions;
• Budgeting and forecasting processes to Group reporting deadlines, implementing improvements to balance sheet forecasting to enhance accuracy;
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely monthly management reporting to Group and Site;
• Ensure all relevant year end reporting to Group is accurate and adheres to deadlines;
• Ensure all statutory and fiscal reporting for the legal entities is completed to relevant deadlines;
• Ensure a robust control environment is maintained both in finance and the wider business;
• Ad hoc analysis and projects as needed

Profile

• Qualified Accountant with several years post qualified experience
• Experience of managing teams
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly organised, diligent and highly motivated
• Ability to develop strong working relationships and influence others
• Ability to problem solve and implement solutions to prevent re-occurrence
• An attitude to drive and implement improvements
• Ability to work under pressure to meet strict reporting deadlines
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Strong excel skills
