My client is seeking a high performing Commercial Analyst to join their business that is conveniently based in Blackburn. Reporting to the engaging and supportive FP&A Manager, this person will be primarily responsible for pricing and rebate accounting functions to transact with accuracy and ensure the financial accounting entries are in compliance with USGAAP and Allegion corporate guidelines.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, your main responsibilities will be but not limited to:
  • Business partnering with commercial teams such as sales to ensure financials are communicated and maintained on a timely manner
  • Manage and maintain pricing in the system for the product based portfolio
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and month end duties with the FP&A team
  • Responsible for rebate calculations and reconciliation for the portfolio
  • Sales, KPIs and claims reporting and analysis
  • Royalty calculation and reporting
  • Prepare General Ledger reconciliations and journals ensuring compliance with Allegion guidelines and USGAAP and SOX
  • Other ad hoc reporting requirements as required


Ideal Profile

This opportunity is for an experienced Commercial Analyst with high attention to detail. You will also bring:
  • Pricing & rebates calculation experience in a product based business is a must
  • Retail, FMCG or manufacturing backgrounds will be highly regarded
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards
  • 10 years of experience throughout your career
  • Stakeholder management skills with ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail and analytical mindset
