Our client who specializes in Optometric Industry is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. The company operates in various sub-sectors including retail, manufacturing distribution, franchising and financial services.
Requirements:

* Matric
* Tertiary Accounting Qualification, CIMA advantageous
* Proven accounting experience
* Advanced Syspro skills
* Have a proven ability to communicate effectively with all staff at all levels
* Have shown the ability to think independently and operate without supervision and guidance
* A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and good interpersonal skills
* Compute literacy with high level of accuracy
* Problem and conflict solving skills
* Must be able to communicate verbally in a clear, concise, professional, tactful, diplomatic and sincere manner on all levels
* Good planning, organizational, analytical and decision making skills
* High level of accuracy with good attention to detail.
The key responsibilities include the following:

* Financial support to various projects targeting revenue enhancement, cost control and risk management
* Monthly Management Accountants preparation and reporting
* Inventory and cost of sales control
* Debtors control
* Fixed assets control
* Banking control
* Finalization of monthly trial balance including journals and reconciliations.
* Statutory Returns ( VAT, PAYE)
