Your Role

We are looking for a Senior commercial Analyst to join the team. Reporting into the Head of Commercial, this experienced individual will track & analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators providing insightful context to support the commercial team on THE OUTNET.

Here is a breakdown of what you'll be doing:

  • Support all recurring planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning for The Outnet
  • Prepare & distribute analysis, documents and reports needed to support the business review process, from weekly reports to annual budget coordination, adding commercial insight.
  • Support the Head of Commercial in building strategy in the context of 3Y/5Y Plans preparation, as well as in liaising with different stakeholders across the team to discuss both short and long-term strategies
  • Distribution of key reports to Sales, Marketing and Buying teams
  • Prepare recurring summary dashboards of Financials and main KPI's (Trading, Marketing and Product) including those intended to support discussion and decision-making at ExCo level;
  • Development of strategic business cases working with cross-functional teams by outlining business opportunity, rationale, and execution plans to achieve the vision. Track projects' evolution, report achievements, challenges and roadblocks;
  • Highlight opportunities through knowledge of external retail landscape
  • Uncover & propose areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock productivity and accelerate execution, providing insights to the business through analytics and market research as required;
  • Implement evidence-based decision making, apply thoughtful analytics to business opportunities, and identify success metrics / develop reporting to track progress against goals.

The type of person we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably within a business consulting firm and / or in reporting / management control functions within a big multi-national company;
  • Degree: Accounting & Control, Finance, Management, Economics;
  • Analytical skills in terms of analysis, problem solving, learning by doing, attention to detail and precision;
  • Proven analytical experience including familiarity with concepts of forecasting, budgeting and data interpretation and analysis. Familiarity with E-commerce and / or Retail KPIs to be considered a plus;
  • Proficiency in data analysis;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Power Point.
