Job purpose and overall objective



This role is responsible for the delivery of Statutory Accounting & Taxation services to a diverse range of clients ensuring that all tasks are completed in line with agreed procedures, quality and deadlines. This role supports the Statutory Accounting & Tax Manager in the management of workload and development of a small team of staff ensuring work is delegated effectively and completed in line with deadlines. This role is responsible for a portfolio of key client work and has full client responsibility. Responsibilities also include providing technical support and guidance as Trainees progress through their professional qualification.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar accounting environment and hold a relevant accounting qualification. The role requires an enthusiastic team player with outstanding technical skills. You must be proactive and assertive with extensive practical accounting skills and proven commercial and managerial/supervisory skills with drive and determination to succeed. In addition you will have strong people skills; be comfortable engaging at all levels and have a strong client focus with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with passion for excellence and innovation.
