Job & Company Description:

My client a listed manufacturing giant requires the skills of a Cost Accountant. The company has been in operations for over a century. The ideal incumbent must have solid analytical skills in order to convert volumes of data. You will also interact with manufacturing and overhead departments. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, BOM analysis, product profitability analysis, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, analyse and report on costs, inventory management, prepare management reports as well as support internal and external audits.

Education:

• BCom Accounting or similar degree

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3 - 5 years' experience within a Cost Accounting role
• Experience within manufacturing sectors a non-negotiable
• Advanced Excel experience
• Must be an analytical thinker
• Must be energetic and a self starter
