We have an exciting opportunity to join our BNZ Insurances team as our Consultant - Management Assurance.

Reporting into the Manager - Management Assurance, in this role you will provide support and assistance in ensuring sound risk management practices are established and maintained in accordance with prescribed policy. Key Accountabilities:

• Provide input, support and expertise to help execute the risk management accountabilities within BNZ Insurances, helping ensure good outcomes for our customers and our business.
• Analyse results to understand risk exposures and help inform process improvement.
• Support the creation of documents and reports as required for a variety of audiences that clearly articulate key risk facts and insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with the wider business/Bank to deliver value for the Insurance business and its customers.
• Support best practice risk management and drive appropriate change to ensure the balance between risk and reward is maintained.
• Integrate risk appetite into decision making processes.

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Risk specialist, who enjoys working in a dynamic and agile environment. You will be joining a team who pride themselves on their strong work ethic, great sense of humour and excellent team culture.

• Previous experience working in risk management within the Insurances and/or financial services industry
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a wide range of stakeholder relationships.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of deriving key themes across different data sources and providing actionable recommendations.
• Be self-motivated with a curiosity to develop your risk career to its full potential.
