PQ Assistant Accountant role for a Construction business based in Central London - Salary upto £34k + Study

A global construction business based in Central London, the company has been through a very successful growth phase despite a Covid hit year. The company is a FTSE 100 listed company and posted revenues of £3.5bn.

Your new role
Working as an Assistant Accountant your role will report directly into the Group Financial Controller. The wider team will allow you to grow and develop as you work across 10 heads. The role will include the main duties of:

• Maintaining Books and Records of all head office companies and prepare monthly review pack for the same
• Preparation of budgets and reforecasts for all head of companies
• Assist with monthly group close process
• Liasing with Auditors
• Bank Reconcilaitions

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a 2.1 degree from an established University, ideally you will have no more than 3 years of experience post graduation. You will need to have exposure to month end and an idea of how to put together accounts on a group level. The successful candidate will have a mature approach and clear understanding of how to communicate with senior heads.
