Financial Controller

We are delighted to be working with a high profile and outstanding Multi Academies Trust in East London in recruiting a Financial Controller on an interim basis. Reporting into the Director of Finance, you will have responsibility for leading a finance function for a MAT with a turnover of circa £14 Million p/a.

You will lead the delivery of all transactional duties including AP, AR and Payroll. At times, you will have to operate a very "hands on" approach with the willingness to get involved with the detail and ensure that all timelines are met.

You will also lead on the production of monthly management accounts and all budgeting and forecasting duties. You will act as a Senior Finance Business Partner for Heads of School and Department and lead in a manner which encourages engagement and collaboration.

This is a key role for the MAT and has the scope to develop into a permanent role in the future depending on performance and progress. Experience of using Sage 200 is an advantage but not essential. Potential for immediate start.
