About the Employer
Our client has been a market leader for over 25 years in assisting client with buying property, taking them through the processes of selecting the right property, and finance package, as well providing strategies on how to pay home loans in 5 years to 7 years.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing the day to day accountancy of this medium sized business. Your responsibilities will be broad, covering all facets of the finance function.

Duties:.

• Accounts Receivable including generating invoices, verify and accurately post all payments to the correct invoices
• Supervising accounts payable
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing of accruals, prepayments and subsequent journals
• Assisting with year-end procedures
• Staff payroll, Super and managing staff leaves
• Monthly and quarterly BAS lodgements
• Liaising with external tax accountant and auditor
• Assisting with operational related tasks
• Continuous improvement of financial processes

Skills and Experience:

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role or Business Services role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work within a team environment
• MYOB Advanced would be highly regarded
• Experience with Excel
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the Real Estate industry is preferred
• A Bachelor of Accounting or a Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring in Accounting)
