Finance Business Partner
Te āhuatunga a te tūranga/About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our high performing team of finance professionals, supporting our Courts & Tribunals, which is part of our Operations and Service Delivery (OSD) business group. OSD is responsible for all the Ministry's operational services to customers including the courts and centralised national services.
The Finance Business Partner is responsible for providing direction and leadership in the financial planning and management of the portfolio's strategies, and is responsible for driving sound strategic financial decision making. You will also be the key relationship and coordination point between the business and the overall Finance group
You will work closely with the Management Accountants to facilitate seamless support to the Courts & Tribunals. You will also be required to mentor and coach them to develop talent and build the capability to deliver outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Strong analytical, strategic and planning skills as well as being commercially savvy
* Able to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisations
* Experience in analysing technical issues and making business decisions with financial impact
* Strong communicator both written and verbal
* Experience in management reporting within large complex and diverse organisations
* Strong working knowledge of Government Financial Management legislation, policies and practices
* Experience in a similar role and environment would be advantageous
* A commitment to building Māori capability - both personally and within your team
* Full CA (or equivalent) preferred

The team are embedded within the business unit's they support, providing a key relationship and coordination point between the business and the overall Finance group.

Salary range per annum: $100,221 - $141,488
