My client is a government body based in Central London. They are looking for a Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst on a permanent basis.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, the Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst will act as a key member of the Finance team, leading the development of reporting systems and solutions to provide insightful and accurate management information and analysis to the Executive Committee as well as other key internal customers, and to fulfil external reporting obligations. The role will also support and co-ordinate the annual financial planning and quarterly reforecasting processes, ensuring that strategic outputs can be conveyed to the Executive Committee. The Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst will also provide support to the Finance Business Partnering team, providing that team with high quality management information and analysis as well as holding them to account in terms of the annual planning and forecasting calendar.

What do I need?

It is essential to be either a fully qualified or close to qualifying (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant with evidence of substantial experience in a similar role in a similar organisation. You will have experience of producing management information and analysis for key stakeholders. You will have experience of developing and implementing systems to facilitate to the production of timely, accurate information.
