My client is a progressive property and housing construction group based in Milton Keynes.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Accountant will be:
- To handle CIS Returns and VAT Returns
- Statement reconciliations
- Monthly processing of management account information/balance sheet monitoring
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Sales invoicing
- Reviewing project spend
- Monitoring actual vs budget
- Bank reconciliations
- Attend tender review meetings - contribute to lessons learned
- Attend project handover meetings
- Reporting to Directors on weekly and monthly basis
Profile
The ideal candidate for the Accountant role will be:
- Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal
- Able to work autonomously
- Have good IT and Excel skills
- Able to business partner effectively with colleagues at every level

My client is offering a basic salary range of £45,000 - £50,000
