The Molycop Australia business employs around 600 staff and wages roles across operations in Waratah, NSW and Bassendean, WA, and competes in the global market with its world class Rail, Grinding Media and Engineered Fastener Products. Molycop is currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller based at our Waratah site on a permanent full-time basis reporting to the Financial Controller. The role will solely lead the charge on all customer collection and credit management activities with the end goal of ensuring customer payments are received on time and in full. This is a critical role within the Finance function playing an important part in facilitating achievement of the team's objectives.

The role will suit a natural communicator who thrives on building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders whilst being able to navigate difficult conversations and resolve issues to deliver positive payment outcomes for the organisation. Of equal value will be your ability to assess credit risk to provide on-going advice to management to mitigate credit losses coupled with experience in taking recovery action where required.

To be successful in this role you must have:
  • AICM Certificate IV in Credit Management (or equivalent);
  • 5+ years' Account Receivable experience with experience across collections, credit risk and credit compliance within large organisations that offer credit to customers;
  • The ability to build strong relationships with customers internal stakeholders;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to keep calm under pressure maintaining a professional approach to dealings;
  • Strong attention to detail, be highly organised and deadline driven;
  • Good numeracy skills; and Intermediate Excel skills.
