About the role and the team culture

You'll be joining a close knit, highly engaged team who work together, pivot to changing priorities and collaborate to solve problems.

Your primary role is ensuring the delivery of Latitude Group balance sheet reconciliations, in line with the Group's reconciliation policy, with a focus on the Group's Loans and Auto business and on Cash.

• All things reconciliation which will include: Day to day oversight of the cash matching process for the Loans and Auto businesses and keeping management up to date.
• Assist with the month end close activity and other ad hoc reporting.
• Accuracy, completeness and timely recognition of profit & loss and balance sheet ledgers.
• Will lead initiatives to improve the efficiency and quality of finance processes; leveraging peers and other best practices across the Latitude business to deliver improvements.

Who we are after!

You're a no fuss, analytically minded person with a few years' experience working as an accountant or Operations role within financial services. You can always see better ways to approach process and you're open to learning.

• Previous reconciliation experience is a must whilst month end experience will be a bonus.
• Strong technical skills. Advanced Excel, and Workday GL will be highly regarded.
• Engaging and down to earth interpersonal skills, you thrive in a team, love sharing what you know and can pivot to changing priorities and deadlines.
