The Opportunity

An exciting career opportunity has become available in our Head Office in Tullamarine for a self-motivated individual with a flexible approach to their work to join our Finance Team.

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will perform a role in supporting the integrity of the financial data in the Skybridge accounting system. You will enjoy variety and being involved in a range of accounts payable and payroll activities in a small, supportive team environment.

This is a permanent appointment, and the successful candidate will work full time, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities, include:

• Accounts payable processing;
• Providing quality customer service in relation to supplier queries;
• Ensuring correct approval and coding of documentation for accurate processing;
• Supporting the timely processing of payments;
• Assisting with the daily bank reconciliation;
• Supporting account reconciliations and reports;
• Providing assistance on payroll related matters;
• Preparation and entry of fortnightly payroll data, as required.

About You:

• You have strong attention to detail, are adaptable, customer focused and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment;
• A minimum of one year's experience in accounts payable;
• Payroll processing experience is highly regarded but not essential, as training will be provided;
• Previous accounting software experience; and
• Proficient with MS Office and Excel.
