Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Accountant to join a well-established not for profit organisation with a strong reputation for innovation and excellence.
The vacancy will play a critical role by processing and recording everyday transactions, maintaining records of financial transactions and assisting in the production of month end accounts.
With offices based on the CBD fringe, this position is offered on a 2-month temporary contract with an immediate start required.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Manager, this role will see you working in a friendly and team focused environment where your duties will include:
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 2 years' experience in a high-volume transactional environment. You will possess an intermediate level of Excel skills (pivot tables/ V-lookups), with an aptitude to learn new finance systems quickly.
Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.

- Record day to day financial transactions in an ERP system
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
- Creditors, Debtors and other balance sheet reconciliations
- Assistant in the Preparation of month end accounts
- Ensure bank account records are kept up to date
- General Finance and Administration duties
