We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Insurances Risk Team as our Risk & Assurance Consultant. Our Risk & Assurance Consultant is primarily responsible for advice quality assurance for BNZ Insurances. This means you'll review and oversight our insurance distribution channels to help ensure quality advice, and support the business with expertise where deficiencies are identified.

This position is responsible for:
  • Fulfilment of controls and assurance activities, ensuring QA/Assurance Programme cycles are met.
  • Recording and monitoring repair of any identified adviser deficiencies.
  • Monitoring key risk indicators and ensuring relevant stakeholders have visibility of any conduct or compliance related issues.
  • Providing insights to enable a focus on solutions to help improve business weaknesses or opportunities to improve outcomes for customers.
  • Analysing information from BNZ Systems to ensure compliance with regulatory, policy and process requirements.

Ō Pūkenga | About You

With your financial services experience, you will have a sound understanding of insurance principles and assessment of customer needs with life insurance.

Working collaboratively and maintaining internal customer relationships will be key to influencing stakeholders, as well as the ability to accurately implement and apply framework requirements when assessing customer interactions. Your ability to analyse and work across varying priorities is essential to this role.
