The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To ensure the model adequately reflects the latest view of the syndicate risk profile and to contribute to the validation of the Internal Model. This includes applying external model updates (ESG/Catastrophe models) to the capital model, analysing the Igloo capital model projections and discussing/validating projections with stakeholders across the business.
  • Delivery of the Solvency II/Lloyd's regulatory capital analysis and reporting requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, the analysing the capital projections and producing the Lloyd's SCR submission (i.e. LCR forms and all other associated returns), applying ication of the model change policy f for model updates, producing the annual Model Change Report and the annual IMO submissions to Lloyd's.
  • Produce and present analysis/documentation for the above to senior management and committees.
  • To promote, encourage and support model use.
  • To support model development.
  • To support effective Internal Model Governance.
  • Produce and present analysis/documentation for the above to senior management and committees.
  • Conducting adhoc analysis/investigations as they may arise including assisting across other areas of the team, for example business planning investigations, stress and scenario testing, ORSA, AFR.

The person should have 2 plus years general insurance work experience, ideally in capital modelling or mixed.

We are looking for someone that will be enthusiastic and hardworking. The candidate should show initiative and must enjoy working with other areas of the business.

Quantitative background is a must

Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Igloo experience desirable
