Enhanced Due Diligence Manager
Are you an experienced FC Manager with brilliant analytical and research skills? Could you inspire and nurture a team of specialists to deliver high quality work on time? Can you utilise your expertise and knowledge in AML and Financial Crime risk to shape future policy? If yes, then we may have the role for you! As an Enhanced Due Diligence Manager, you will lead a team of specialists, joining a Mortgage Operations team that help protect the Bank across the entire Mortgage portfolio. You will co-ordinate your teams undertaking of EDD reviews on customers identified as higher risk as well as taking on cases yourself. These could include politically exposed persons, special interest persons or individuals that could be conducting tax evasion, money laundering or other suspicious activities.
Depending on the team, most of our roles offer flexible working and you will work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19.
So what would you be doing?...
• Managing the reviews across the team, making sure they are adhering to the required quality and deadlines
• Providing oversight on all analysis undertaken by the team on internal and external databases, primary documents, adverse media and other information sources
• Reviewing the recommendations made by the team around mitigation of possible sanctions exposure, providing insight into the cases that have been raised as possible suspicious activity
• Checking the teams analysis reports on financial crime risks and controls in relation to new and existing higher risk customers and providing recommendations on their treatment
• Coordinating regulatory MI or data requests and the production of regular reporting of relevant KPI/KRIs to agreed governance requirements (monthly, quarterly and annually)
• Maintaining your level of awareness in key regulatory, legislative or industry updates and assessing any required changes to Bank standards or policy
• Using your extensive domain knowledge and previous experience to make informed judgements and recommendations where necessary You need to be this kind of person...

• You will have an understanding of the requirements of AML/CTF, fraud, ABC, sanctions regulation and legislation
• Naturally, you will have experience leading a team and co-ordinating their EDD reviews ideally in a financial service environment
• We need you to have expertise in providing higher risk recommendations based upon findings
• In order to be amazing in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse complex data and report in a precise and confident manner
• A relevant AML or Financial Crime qualification would be desirable
