Financial Controller

Your new company
I am currently working with a fast growing, international law firm looking to hire a Financial Controller to join the London office. The firm has a great market reputation with a proven track record of investing and developing its staff.

Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director this is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:

• Financial reporting for UK and international entities
• Development of financial controls and processes
• Support production of management accounts
• Support on Tax and VAT reporting
• Staff leadership of 1 report
• Working with the FD on commercial support to the business and external relationship management with bankers.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with proven experience in a similar financial controls focused role. You will need to have legal or professional services sector expertise with a good working comprehension of UK GAAP and IFRS reporting. You will need strong stakeholder management with the ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
