An outstanding opportunity has arisen with a global organisation for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their Finance Team in Wilmslow to support a global project. This company offer a state of the art covid secure office environment in Wilmslow and are currently going through an exciting transformation making it an excellent time to join the business.

Description

The Accounts Payable Assistant role is initially a 6 month contract which could be extended. You will be based in their Covid Secure office in Wilmslow with occasional opportunities for remote working.

You will be supporting a new global project across Finance and will have the opportunity to look after:

• Reviewing processes and suggesting process improvement
• A/P Invoice processing
• Processing fixed assets invoices
• Inter-company Invoice processing
• Answering vendor queries
• Providing telephone cover for reception
• Updating Purchase order spreadsheets
• General ledger account analysis
• Processing of expense payments on a weekly basis
• Processing of vendor payments on a weekly basis
• A/P Project work
• Other Ad-Hoc reporting and administrative duties as required

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

Have end to end experience of Accounts Payable processes

Ideally have SAP experience (not essential) and be confident with Excel

Live within commuting distance of Wilmslow

Be available to consider a temporary contract initially
