About the Team
The Risk & Control Governance, Planning & Reporting team is responsible for ensuring that decisions relating to the non-financial risk and controls environment are well informed, timely and appropriately socialised. They achieve this through monitoring data quality, providing risk insights, reporting, interactions with Line 2, and ensuring each BU LT has the right level of comfort and governance within their risk environment.

You'll report to the Executive Manager of Senior Manager.
On a day to day basis, you'll be:

About the Role
You'll report to the Executive Manager of Senior Manager.
On a day to day basis, you'll be:
- Adhering to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.
- Responsible for gathering and collating information to support the strategic planning process and providing insights to help drive critical risk thinking.
- Responsible for the preparation and administration of governance forums, including minuting and action management.
- Responsible for reporting on operational risk and control profiles, issues, incidents and other matters and manage complaints where applicable.
- Responsible for risk and controls reporting for attestations for the BU / SU by sourcing, collating and validating content.
- Managing the analysis, tracking and reporting on the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS).
- Assessing, providing insights and managing the impact of regulatory change for IPP, SPP and strategy setting.
- Developing operating guidance to drive consistency for the BU/SU and collating and providing commentary on key metrics for the Controls Office.
- Engaging with and escalating to Line 2 on areas of non-compliance with policy, procedures and frameworks
