We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and motivated Senior Management Accountant in our team based in Osborne, South Australia.

About the Opportunity
Working as part of our world class shipbuilding program, you will provide financial support and advice to the program.

More specifically your responsibilities include;

* Lead the consolidation, reporting and financial management of the program's cost base
* Prepare and communicate timely monthly financial results, forecasts and variance analysis in support of business targets
* Cash flow management (including foreign currency) and engagement with our central treasury and tax teams
* Review and challenge the appropriateness of forecasts/spend to date including providing insightful analysis to key stakeholders
* Apply your technical accounting skills for innovative development and maintenance of financial processes and solutions
* Evaluate key investments and opportunities focusing on cost competitiveness in support of the program
* Provide financial advice and training to the business

About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

* Degree qualification in relevant field with CA or CPA qualification
* Excellent knowledge of budgeting and cost analysis, as well as a strong understanding of financial and management accounting practices
* Highly developed skills in analysis and interpretation of financial results
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to take ownership of task and embrace change
* Strong stakeholder management skills with high level of personal integrity, initiative and motivation
* Microsoft Office skills are essential
