The Analytics & Insights team is a centre of expertise that delivers best practice data science, data engineering, insights and reporting to BNZ. We work with colleagues across BNZ to manage data, create actionable insights and drive value from data and analytics.

Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Insights Analyst to join our team. In this role responsible for enabling bold decision making through providing the best information to the Simplification and Product Domain stakeholders. Resulting insights will be developed to support Product migration strategy in switching customer to the right Product that is optimal to them.

The Insights Analyst is responsible for providing end to end data support that includes insights and modelling for Simplification projects, ad hoc data analysis and post migration monitoring to projects where required. With a focus on delivering quality data and insight to support business initiatives whilst maintaining a positive collaboration with the stakeholders and the wider Analytic & Insights team.

This is a fixed term role for 2.5 years.

Ō Pūkenga | About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be a team player with excellent communication skills and a drive for continuous improvement. You will bring hands on experience with Hadoop, SQL, and/or SAS. Alongside this you will also have:

• Experience with data wrangling and manipulation
• Stakeholder management skills with good track record of engaging with all levels of the business, reporting findings and challenging the status quo
