CSO is looking for a Financial Transactions Supervisor - Accounts Payable/Receivable to join the Finance team at the CSO and oversee the efficient and effective receipt of income from debtors and payment of creditors.

About the Role

As a Transactions Supervisor, you will be a key contributor in delivering the Finance Team's assigned accountability within CSOs overall financial accounting, reporting and transactional processes and enabling CSO to maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, public sector accounting policies, practices and statutory requirements and external regulators. The Transactions Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accurate accounting for receipt of income from debtors and payment of creditors and associated data maintenance in the practice management system, in accordance with CSO policies and procedures, public sector accounting policies, practices, the Treasurer's Directions, current Finance Acts, current Trust legislation and relevant GST compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in managing teams and ensuring the team meets monthly deadlines related to accounts receivable and payable services while working in a high volume work environment. You would have coordinated cross functional team outputs to ensure overall timelines and quality standards are met across all financial transaction processing activities.

Essential Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of public sector accounting policies, practices, the Treasurer's Directions, current Finance Acts, current Trust legislation and relevant GST compliance requirements.
