Exciting career opportunity for a self-motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Melbourne office of a Global Law Firm.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Accounts Payable clerk with at least 2 - 3 years' experience to join a Global Law Firm that offers outstanding career pathways, professional development and all the resources you would expect to find at a leading law firm.
Reporting to the Finance Manager and as an integral member of the Australian Finance Team, you will be responsible for the end to end processing of the accounts payable function. You will also provide support to the Australian Finance Team to ensure day to day tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Some of your duties will include, but not limited to;
- end to end Accounts Payable
- generating payment runs and obtaining authorisations
- reconciliation of supplier statements
- credit card reconciliations, banking and petty cash
- billing support and assistance when required
- month end reporting
- internal and external audit request
- creation and management of vendor set-up for new clients and suppliers
- adhoc finance and administration duties
- at least 2 - 3 years' experience working in Accounts Payable in a Professional Services firm (legal experience preferred)
- excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- strong time management and organisational skills
- intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- experience using Elite 3E an advantage
- a pro-active and positive team attitude
