Management Accountant

Hays Senior Finance are recruiting for a growing business within the construction sector who are adding a management accountant to their established team. This role will be pivotal in helping transform systems and processes for the business to double their turn over in the next 5 years.

Role will include:

* Preparation of management accounts
* Actual and budget expenditure analysis and reports
* Forecasting based on market data and performance
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Accruals and prepayments
* Cash book reconciliations, bank balance monitoring, making payments and cashflow reporting
* Fixed asset register
* VAT
* Business Partnering with heads of department
* Annual audit preparation and reviewing statutory accounts
* Review and improvement of procedures
* Corporation Tax forecasts
* Adhoc projects
The successful candidate will be:
* ACCA/ACA qualified
* Advanced excel
* Good systems knowledge (Sage 200 advantageous)
