A fantastic Assistant Management Accountant role for 12 months with opportunity to go permanent! Ideal for part qualified individuals. This role is offering between £24,000 to £28,000 (based upon experience). This role is based in the City centre of Manchester.

Description

Duties include:

• Assisting with sales/purchase ledger
• Assisting and updating senior management on outstanding debtors
• Assisting with management accounts, P&L workings, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and posting of journals
• Creating and maintaining fixed assets list
• Liaising with departments across the business to review and ensure accuracy of systems
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Calculation and submission of benefits in kind for P11D returns
• Assist the team with ad hoc duties

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working within a similar role - essential
• Part-qualified Accountant or working towards a professional qualification, with membership of one of the recognised accounting bodies - essential
• Have excellent knowledge of xero and advanced excel - essential
• Be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business - essential
• Be able to work in a timely manner and meet deadlines - desirable
